Hi NoCommute Subscribers,
Happy holidays to you from all of us at NoCommute! Newsletters will be light this week - we’re keeping an eye on new postings, but it’s a very slow week because everyone’s off for the holidays. We fully expect postings to resume in a big week next week.
We also wanted to keep you informed about an upcoming change to NoCommute. We’re switching e-mail platforms from Substack to Beehiiv. It’s a small change, but one we think will ultimately benefit everyone in the long term. So what does that mean for you?
Emails will come from a new address: Daily emails will now come from nocommute@mail.beehiiv.com - please white label that address to make sure it doesn’t end up in your spam folder
Payment processing: We are still using the same payment processor, Stripe, on the new platform. There’s no need for your to resubscribe or take any action. We’ve also shut off payments through Substack. But, if you do see an extra charge, please contact us directly. We will refund any extra charges immediately if you get accidentally double-billed.
New look and feel: We’ve got a lot of new options for layouts with our new provider, so we’re going to experiment a little to make the list more readable for you.
